About ACS Cool
ACS Cool is a family-run air conditioning business based in Wrexham, serving homes and businesses across North Wales, Chester, Cheshire, Wirral and Shropshire. It offers installation, servicing, repairs and planned maintenance, with domestic options including floor-mounted units and ceiling cassettes.
Domestic quotations can follow a home or building-site visit, or be prepared from plans. ACS considers household requirements and outdoor-unit positioning, including neighbours and planning consents. It also installs in conservatories.
Managed service contracts provide visits at agreed times and annual leak tests, with an inspection report after routine servicing. ACS recommends six-monthly servicing, increasing to three-monthly visits where airborne particles are excessive. Free surveys are advertised for new service contracts; investigating existing-system faults attracts an attendance charge or hourly rate.
The listed brands are supported for repairs. Advertised repair work includes circuit boards, pumps, compressors, leak detection, refrigerant recharge and pressure testing with oxygen-free nitrogen. Air-to-water heat pump repairs include refrigerant and compressor work, gas-level checks, pressure testing and re-gassing.
ACS claims Safe Contractor approval and says its engineers are trained and accredited to work on F-Gas units. Health and safety documents, RAMS and proof of refrigerant disposal are available on request.
A published residential project describes fitting several Haori units in a house in Curzon Park, Chester.
The contact page lists a second number, 01244 980604, for Chester. The site identifies Gareth Shipley ACS Ltd and states company registration number 5262031.
