About Air Conditioning Direct
Air Conditioning Direct designs, installs and maintains home air conditioning across London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Kent. It offers wall-mounted, multi-split, ceiling cassette and ducted systems, alongside repairs and free home surveys.
Contact hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am–7pm. The returns policy identifies Air Conditioning Direct as a trading name of London Communication Systems Ltd.
Free home surveys consider room sizes, glazing, occupancy and appearance. Online estimates use room selections and uploaded photographs, with an optional rough floorplan. Final prices follow photo review, and itemised quotes are valid for 30 days.
The company advertises its own F-Gas-certified engineers and says most home installations take one day. The engineer qualification claims do not establish company F-Gas certification.
A seven-year manufacturer-backed warranty is advertised, with annual servicing required to maintain validity. Annual service plans start at £99. Servicing accepts equipment of any brand or age and includes filter cleaning and a gas check.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries packages start at £1,595 for one room, £3,295 for two bedrooms and £3,595 for a bedroom plus living room. The £4,995 two-bedroom-plus-living-room package combines a two-way bedroom multi-split with a separate living-room system. Final sizing depends on dimensions, photographs and site details.
Standard installation pricing includes up to 5m of refrigerant pipework per applicable run, gravity drainage where practical and an electrical connection from a suitable existing socket or circuit where compliant. Longer pipework, a new dedicated circuit, condensate pumps, specialist access and making good or decorating are outside standard pricing and require review.
Residential multi-splits can serve two to five rooms from one outdoor unit with independent room control. Ducted systems are offered for homes, including new builds, with zoned control. Larger installations outside standard packages receive tailored quotes.
