About ATKINSONS Group
ATKINSONS Group installs domestic air conditioning across County Durham and the North East. It offers wall-mounted and multi-split systems for heating and cooling, with home surveys, system design, installation, servicing and maintenance.
The company's own engineers handle surveys, unit siting, pipework, electrical connections and commissioning. Systems are designed around individual homes, from one bedroom to several rooms, with a named Contracts Manager overseeing the work. The installation gallery includes a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries outdoor unit fitted to a stone wall.
Free home surveys and fixed written quotations are offered without obligation. The survey includes consideration of planning requirements, and the team discusses likely running costs. Quotations cover only the described work; changes and extra work require written agreement on price and programme.
Servicing, maintenance and aftercare are available. The air-conditioning page states that annual checks maintain the warranty. Workmanship guarantee terms are set out in each quotation, alongside applicable manufacturer warranties, which the company registers where applicable.
Phones are staffed 24 hours a day throughout the year, and quote enquiries usually receive a callback within one working day. Job photos can be sent by WhatsApp to 07516 665464. The customer service centre is at First Floor, North Sands Business Centre, Sunderland, SR6 0QA.
ATKINSONS is a family-built firm founded by Dale Atkinson, employing its trades in-house. It trades as ATKINSONS Group through ATKINSONS (NE) Limited, company number 15283882, with its headquarters in Durham and a customer service centre in Sunderland.
