About Avanza Heating & Bathrooms
Avanza is based in Southend-on-Sea and installs, maintains and repairs domestic air conditioning across Essex. It offers single-split, multi-split and ducted installations, with free surveys, system design and commissioning. Its advertised AC brands include Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic.
Owner Pierre Codarin provides a single point of contact from the first enquiry to the final invoice. The business offers 24/7 phone cover for emergency plumbing and heating; overnight attendance depends on engineer availability. Work beyond the listed Essex towns is accepted selectively.
Free cooling surveys assess room dimensions, glazing, orientation, occupancy and heat load. Itemised AC quotations are offered within 48 hours with two or three product options. Written prices are held for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes depend on the surveyed scope and conditions; significant newly uncovered work is priced and agreed before proceeding.
Installation includes nitrogen pressure testing, vacuuming and a commissioning record. Handover includes a controls demonstration, a service log and manufacturer warranty registration. Avanza advertises a 12-month workmanship guarantee. Annual AC service plans include filter cleaning, condensate clearance and refrigerant pressure checks.
Advertised installation durations are typically one working day for a single-split, two days for a multi-split and three to five days for ducted systems, depending on routing. Wi-Fi modules are included as standard.
For separate heating and plumbing work, Avanza states that gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and advertises G3 qualifications for unvented hot-water cylinder installations. Project quotations specify the deposit, progress payments and final balance due on practical completion.
