About Calibre Climate
Calibre Climate designs and installs residential air conditioning, specialising in concealed systems for luxury homes, apartments and period properties. It handles retrofits, refurbishments and new builds, with planning support, maintenance, repairs and targeted system upgrades.
Calibre is a second-generation family business with a heritage dating to 1975, specialising in residential air conditioning.
Projects begin with a video call to discuss requirements, options and indicative costs, followed by an on-site feasibility workshop and written scope. Design development includes drawings, calculations, trade coordination and condenser planning application documents where required. A design fee may apply depending on project size.
Retrofit work can include electrical and builders’ works, joinery integration, acoustic treatment, making good and redecoration. Its featured Little Venice period townhouse project combined concealed air conditioning and ventilation with design, planning, installation and associated works.
The in-house aftercare team arranges regular servicing, equipment assessments, repairs and emergency callouts. Calibre recommends at least annual residential servicing, with more frequent visits potentially needed for older or heavily used equipment. It states that its engineers are F-Gas certified.
Special Works covers smaller installations, including one or two rooms, controls and capacity upgrades, replacement equipment, condenser relocation and extensions of existing systems to additional rooms.
Inversa combines air conditioning, heating and domestic hot water through an air source heat pump and heat recovery module. It can redirect heat from warmer rooms to cooler spaces or hot water, with remote monitoring, software updates and fault diagnostics.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm. Appointment-only showroom visits are available with Fontana at 590 King’s Road, SW6 2DX, where air conditioning is integrated into joinery and interiors.
The published terms limit any company warranty to 12 months unless the contract expressly states otherwise. Warranties, including manufacturer warranties held through Calibre, require full payment. They are void if equipment is misused, damaged after delivery or insufficiently maintained by Calibre in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
