About Cymru ProAir Systems
Cymru ProAir Systems is based in Bridgend and supplies, installs, services and repairs home air conditioning across South Wales. It offers free site surveys and quotes, with installations ranging from single-room units to whole-home multi-split systems and air-to-air heat pumps for heating and cooling.
Owner and installer Jordan Kidd lists a completed apprenticeship, a Level 3 NVQ in installing electrotechnical systems, electrical verification and inspection qualifications, and BS7671:2018 wiring regulations among his qualifications. Contact hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm; Sunday is closed.
The free site survey measures the space, assesses installation requirements and confirms unit placement. A standard single-room installation typically takes one day. Systems are commissioned and registered for manufacturer warranty, with operating guidance and ongoing support provided after installation.
Residential work includes terraces around Bridgend and Maesteg and newer homes in Pencoed, Pyle and Pontyclun. Multi-split systems connect two to five indoor units to one outdoor unit. Floor-mounted consoles are offered for conservatories and rooms where wall-mounted units are impractical.
Domestic customers can choose annual or twice-yearly service plans with priority booking. Servicing includes filters, coils, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, drainage and performance checks, followed by a written report. Any additional repairs are quoted before work proceeds.
The company aims to attend repair callouts within 24–48 hours where possible; commercial maintenance-contract customers receive priority response. Repairs are tested on completion and carry a parts-and-labour warranty, with the duration depending on the repair.
