About D.E.S. Gas Safe Solutions
D.E.S. Gas Safe Solutions supplies, installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning for homes and light-commercial premises. Based in Ecclesfield, the business covers Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and surrounding areas, with free site surveys and heat-load calculations to select equipment.
Free air conditioning surveys assess heat load, system size and placement. Customers receive an itemised quotation, followed by installation, commissioning, warranty registration, F-Gas paperwork and instruction on using the system. The company describes its installation engineers as F-Gas registered.
A straightforward single-room split installation usually takes a day; more complex or multi-room work can take longer. The installation schedule is confirmed during the survey. Manufacturer warranty length and conditions depend on the equipment and are confirmed in writing before work starts.
Planned air conditioning servicing and repairs are available. Service checks include filters, coils, refrigerant pressures and leak detection. For breakdowns needing immediate attention, the company arranges a priority visit where possible and discusses parts availability and lead times.
Published contact hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am–5:30pm, and Friday, 9am–5pm, with weekends closed. Separately advertised 24-hour emergency callouts cover heating and hot-water problems.
The team reports 17 years of heating-industry experience and includes apprentice-trained engineers. The business also carries out boiler, central heating and plumbing work.
Comfort Plus is a boiler service membership, starting at £7.99 per month. Every plan includes annual boiler servicing, safety checks and service reminders. Membership benefits begin after an initial chargeable boiler service and inspection and acceptance of the boiler and heating system.
