About D & J Air Conditioning Services
D & J Air Conditioning Services is a family-run business in Urmston, established in 1971. It designs, supplies and installs air conditioning for homes and businesses across Manchester and the North West, alongside servicing, repairs, maintenance and air source heat pump work.
The company uses its own qualified engineers rather than subcontractors and advertises F-Gas certified engineers and BESA membership.
Free surveys and quotations are available. System design considers property layout, usage and performance requirements. Installation includes supply, fitting, commissioning, operating guidance and a user guide booklet.
New installations may qualify for extended warranties of up to seven years when a maintenance contract is taken. The installation page also offers 24-hour callout support with that contract.
Domestic and commercial servicing is available through one-off visits or routine care for new and older equipment. Additional services include refrigerant recovery, disposal of old systems and relocation of existing units.
Repair work covers Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Fujitsu, LG and Samsung equipment. Fault finding addresses cooling problems, leaks, unusual noises, poor airflow and fault codes.
For commercial and industrial maintenance customers, the company advertises tailored contracts and one-off visits. Contract benefits include priority breakdown cover, reduced labour rates and emergency engineer support.
Air source heat pump work includes installation, servicing, maintenance and one-off repairs for domestic and commercial customers. Free heat pump surveys are advertised.
Published opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00; Saturday and Sunday are closed.
