About Fixx
Fixx installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning across the North of England, including York and surrounding areas. Based in Allerton Bywater, the company also provides heating, plumbing and electrical services for residential, commercial and industrial properties, with 24/7 emergency call-outs including air conditioning breakdowns.
Fixx describes its air conditioning engineers as F-Gas registered and recommends professional AC servicing at least annually. It offers replacement installations as well as maintenance and repairs.
The York page advertises AC repairs from £120 plus VAT per hour and servicing from £150 plus VAT. Charges depend on the time required and location; repair parts are excluded from the hourly price.
Emergency maintenance call-outs are advertised 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including air conditioning breakdowns. Listed AC faults include thermostat problems, refrigerant leaks, coil problems and blocked drainage lines.
The business adopted the Fixx name in 2021 and advertises facilities services dating back to 2011. Customers explain the work needed and its urgency before Fixx schedules an appointment.
