About J Hillier Air Conditioning
J Hillier Air Conditioning is a family-run business based in Chandlers Ford, providing air conditioning design, installation, maintenance and repairs for homes and commercial properties. Its residential projects include ducted, wall-mounted and multi-split systems.
The family-run business reports more than 50 years of combined industry experience. It describes its installation engineers as F-Gas registered, with more than 10 years of experience each, including bespoke home installations.
The company provides surveys and detailed quotations with alternative cost-saving options. Its directors usually work on site alongside the installation engineers.
Bespoke planned preventive maintenance packages are available. Each service or maintenance visit is followed by a report recording system performance and recommendations. The company recommends annual servicing for residential systems.
The company advertises a 10-year Mitsubishi Electric warranty following a manufacturer audit and a seven-year Daikin warranty through its Daikin D1 partnership. It also lists Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Quality Partner and Fujitsu Elite Infinity Partner status, Safe Contractor SSIP accreditation, and City & Guilds qualifications including hydrocarbon refrigerants.
At Echo Beach in Boscombe Overcliffe, the company designed and installed air conditioning for two penthouses: Fujitsu concealed ducted systems in one and Mitsubishi Electric wall-mounted systems in the other. Outdoor condensers received corrosion treatment against sea air and custom rooftop housing.
The Rebuilding Sunnyside House installation combined concealed ducted systems, a multi-split system and guest-bedroom wall units. Pipework was concealed within walls and ceilings during the build, with gravity drainage throughout.
