About JIB Cooling
JIB Cooling designs, supplies and installs home air conditioning across Kent from its Hawkinge base. It offers wall-mounted, multi-split, ceiling cassette and ducted systems, with free site surveys and written quotations.
Founded by Liam Billance and Jacques Brown, JIB Cooling draws on more than 20 years of combined experience. Listed opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 07:30–18:00.
Free, no-obligation surveys assess the space, building fabric and required capacity before a written quotation. Most surveys are arranged within 24 hours of enquiry. Most domestic installations take one day, with larger or multi-room projects scheduled individually. Installation includes refrigerant pipework, electrical connections, pressure testing, commissioning and a handover walkthrough.
An Isle of Sheppey home received a 3.5kW Daikin wall-mounted split for heating and cooling. That project included a five-year manufacturer warranty, a matching five-year warranty on installation work and aftercare. A separate 2.5kW bedroom installation in Herne Bay cost £1,850 fitted and included a five-year warranty and aftercare. These prices and warranties relate to the individual projects.
Commercial installation and maintenance extend across Kent, London and the South East, with travel further afield for projects. Commercial maintenance offers scheduled visits, priority response and servicing of systems installed by other contractors. Checks cover filters, coils, refrigerant, drainage, electrical connections and controls, with written service records. One documented industrial service involved an existing Toshiba cooling-only wall-mounted split.
The company reports CSCS registration for its operatives, IPAF training for powered access equipment and PASMA competence for mobile scaffold towers, supporting work on commercial and managed premises.
