About K2 Heating & Cooling Solutions
K2 Heating & Cooling Solutions designs, installs, maintains and repairs home air conditioning. Based in Bolton, it offers single-split, multi-split, wall-mounted and ducted systems, serving the North West and undertaking projects across the UK depending on the job.
Residential design includes site assessments and a defined project scope. Free estimates are available, with room size and the intended AC type used for initial pricing. Work outside the company's northern base depends on the nature of the job.
K2 services and maintains residential systems installed by other companies as well as its own. It offers regular maintenance plans regardless of who fitted the equipment.
The published warranty conditions require a K2 maintenance contract within three months of installation and at least one annual service by K2 for domestic installations, with no third-party servicing permitted. The terms exclude misuse, malicious damage, tampering and consumables such as batteries and filters.
K2 says its engineers hold City & Guilds Level 3 and F-Gas qualifications. The business describes delivering its services since 2009 and runs an apprenticeship programme combining senior-engineer mentoring, practical site work and paid college day release.
A documented Bolton installation involved an initial survey followed by a heat-pump air conditioning system for Mr and Mrs Lee's conservatory, providing summer cooling and winter heating.
Alongside its Bolton head office, K2 lists a Manchester office at 76 King Street, Manchester, M2 4NH. Local contact numbers are 01204 361171 for Bolton and 0161 804 4561 for Manchester.
