Telephone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Established in 1972, Kool It Services is now part of Nordic Climate Group. Its domestic specialists use the Manchester Air Conditioning name. The company states that all its engineers hold City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 certificates.
Free quotations are available, and a project manager can visit to discuss equipment selection with the homeowner, architect or builder. On-site and video-call surveys are offered; full surveys are free in many instances.
Domestic multi-split options connect two to four wall-mounted indoor units to one outdoor unit, with individual smartphone control. Ducted systems can be installed as retrofits or during building projects. A documented installation at a home in Marple, Stockport connected two bedroom wall units to one outdoor unit.
Kool It states that it is a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Quality Partner and Daikin D1 Business Partner. Its parts warranties cover fully matched systems: 10 years for qualifying new Mitsubishi Electric systems installed after 1 November 2021, seven years for new Daikin UK split air conditioning excluding VRV, and five years for Midea. These offers require maintenance by Kool It to manufacturer recommendations throughout the warranty period and a preventative maintenance contract. Labour cover lasts one year; subsequent diagnosis and replacement labour are chargeable. Refrigerant and consumables are excluded.
Maintenance plans are called Budget, Bronze, Silver and Gold, with bespoke contracts available according to unit numbers and types. Contracts are payable in advance; advertised prices exclude VAT, with exclusions applying. Visits use major or minor checklists according to cover and season. Outside warranty, repairs requiring spare parts are costed for customer approval before work starts.
For heating installations, equipment sizing uses rule-of-thumb methods, known equipment loads and company experience unless the quotation states otherwise. Outdoor drip trays and drainage trace heating may carry additional charges.
Commercial repairs are advertised for businesses throughout Manchester and the North West. A 24/7 call-out service for business-critical applications requires a separate contractual arrangement and is not standard contract cover.
