About Leicester-Spark
Leicester-Spark installs domestic wall-mounted split air conditioning and air-to-air heat pumps in Leicester and nearby areas. It focuses on individual rooms, including bedrooms, home offices and garden rooms, with electrical supply assessment and testing forming part of the installation process.
Assessment starts with room and outside-wall photos or a site survey. Unit size, pipework, condensate drainage, outdoor unit position and electrical supply are considered before a fixed quote is confirmed. Installation includes pressure testing, evacuation, commissioning and electrical testing, followed by electrical certification and commissioning information.
Midea Solstice is a preferred option for straightforward domestic installations. Advertised installation prices start at around £1,495; any required new electrical supply is assessed and priced separately. Final pricing depends on the property and is confirmed after photos or a survey.
A documented Leicester home installation used a wall-mounted Sinclair Keyon 4.6 kW system with a new dedicated electrical circuit. A surface-mounted supply and local isolator allowed the older consumer unit to be retained.
The business is run by Lech, who is City & Guilds Level 3 qualified. Leicester-Spark Ltd states that it holds NICEIC registration under the Approved Contractor, Domestic Installer, PAT and Rental Safety Report schemes.
