About PAR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
PAR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a family-run business serving homes across Yorkshire. It designs and installs wall-mounted, multi-split and ducted air conditioning, alongside maintenance plans, repairs and 24-hour emergency callouts.
PAR is operated by husband and wife Michael and Stacey Abbey. The business originated with Michael's father, Paul Abbey.
Installation consultations assess the home's space, layout and room usage. PAR offers site surveys and free, no-obligation quotations; the installation process includes system testing and guidance on using the equipment.
Maintenance plans cover systems PAR installs across Leeds and West Yorkshire, with customised plans also offered in Huddersfield. Servicing includes inspections, cleaning key components and checking refrigerant levels.
Domestic emergency callouts are available 24 hours a day throughout the year. PAR advertises national service with teams specialising in Yorkshire locations, and asks customers elsewhere to discuss availability.
PAR describes its engineers as F-Gas registered and Refcom certified. Its Wakefield page also attributes CHAS accreditations to team members.
Home installations include heating and cooling systems and options controlled by phone. For stone-built homes in Huddersfield, engineers assess wall thickness and access and plan pipework routes during the initial survey.
