About Preferred Cooling
Preferred Cooling installs and services home air conditioning across Crawley, London, Surrey, Sussex and the South East. It offers wall-mounted, multi-split and ducted systems, with free home surveys, written quotations and domestic maintenance plans.
Preferred Cooling is the trading name of Preferred Refrigeration Ltd. The business describes over 20 years of experience. Published opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm; Saturday and Sunday are closed.
Free home surveys include a detailed written quotation without obligation. Recommendations consider the property and intended usage. Single-room wall-mounted installations typically take half a day to a day, depending on the property and pipework route; two- or three-room installations usually take one to two days. The installation programme is confirmed at survey.
Annual servicing is recommended for domestic systems. Homeowner maintenance contracts include scheduled visits, priority breakdown response, discounted labour rates and service documentation. Visits include unit inspections, filter and coil cleaning, drainage checks, refrigerant pressure and leak checks, electrical checks and performance testing, followed by a written report. The company also services systems installed by other contractors.
The company advises that regular servicing is typically required to maintain the manufacturer's warranty.
Listed engineer qualifications and training include F-Gas, SSSTS, brazing and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries installation and service training. A customer account reproduced on the domestic page describes a 2kW Mitsubishi Heavy Industries system installed in a garden room.
Commercial installation offerings include ceiling cassette, VRF/VRV, precision cooling and ducted systems. Phased installation, out-of-hours work and weekend fitting are available for occupied commercial premises. The business also installs and maintains commercial refrigeration equipment.
