About RJ Martindale
RJ Martindale is a family-run business based in Horwich, Bolton, installing domestic air conditioning across Lancashire, Manchester and the North West. It supplies Bosch, Midea and Daikin units for home cooling and heating, and offers servicing, repairs and free home surveys.
Domestic options include the Midea Solstice 2.6kW, Daikin Comfora 3.5kW, Daikin Stylish 5kW and Bosch Climate 3200i 7kW. The company offers systems for bedrooms, conservatories, garden rooms and larger living spaces.
Free home surveys provide advice and an installation quotation. Additional costs may apply for multiple units, indoor-to-outdoor distances exceeding six metres, outdoor units on the first or second floor, or electrical upgrades.
The listed air conditioning units carry a five-year manufacturer warranty or guarantee and a 12-month installation warranty from RJ Martindale. Its air conditioning Homecare plan is advertised at £9 per unit per month, including annual servicing and parts and labour cover, subject to terms and conditions. The company states that servicing through the plan keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
The company describes its air conditioning installation engineers as F-Gas certified. RJ Martindale also provides domestic plumbing and heating services and describes its heating engineers as Gas Safe registered and trained to City and Guilds standards.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, and Saturday, 9am–12pm; Sunday is closed. Ryan founded RJ Martindale in 2016, and the business acquired BHE Services in 2023.
