About SMILE Air Conditioning
SMILE Air Conditioning is a family-owned business established in 2009. It designs and installs home air conditioning across the UK, particularly Yorkshire, including multi-split systems and garden room heating and cooling. It also offers maintenance, repairs and free site surveys.
Established in 2009, the family-owned business installs systems for bedrooms, living spaces, loft conversions, home offices, conservatories and outbuildings. Garden room recommendations take account of space size and sunlight exposure; most garden room installations are stated to take 3–5 hours.
An initial conversation leads to an indicative quotation, followed by a free site survey and a fixed quotation valid for two months. Quotes include equipment supply and installation. The company does not offer supply-only units and states that installation must be completed by an F-Gas qualified engineer. No deposit is required; full payment is due on completion.
Warranty length depends on the manufacturer, is specified in the quotation and starts on the installation date. Customers are responsible for obtaining required permissions before installation because SMILE does not check these at purchase.
Installation scheduling typically allows half a day per indoor unit, with the expected duration communicated in advance. Customers are asked to keep indoor and outdoor unit locations clear and accessible.
Maintenance packages advertised on the Harrogate repair page include inspections, cleaning and minor adjustments. Its repair offering covers central air units, ductless mini-splits and window units.
