About Thermax Air Conditioning & Ventilation
Thermax Air Conditioning & Ventilation is based in Sittingbourne and designs, installs, services and repairs home air conditioning across Kent and selected neighbouring areas. Residential work includes bedrooms, living rooms, conservatories, home offices and multi-room properties, with documented Mitsubishi and Midea wall-mounted installations.
Thermax offers free surveys and system design. It discusses the rooms, property requirements and approximate budget, offers initial budget estimates for straightforward projects, and arranges a site visit to confirm the design, unit positions and final price. Most single-room installations can be completed within a day; larger projects may need more time.
Multi-room home installations can provide independent room temperature controls without a separate outdoor unit for every room. Manufacturer-backed warranties are available; the pricing page states that extended warranties depend on proof of regular maintenance.
A Mitsubishi Classic wall-mounted bedroom installation in Hempstead, Kent, was installed and commissioned in one day. A Midea AG Eco wall-mounted installation for a home office in an outbuilding in Leeds, Kent, was completed in two days.
Maintenance and servicing packages cover split and VRF/VRV equipment, with bespoke packages available. Thermax also advertises repairs and maintenance for all major brands; this maintenance scope does not specify installation offerings.
Trevor Carter established the business that became Thermax in November 1994. Thermax reports installations in more than 100 homes. It employs its engineers, with exceptions for some specialist trades.
Published opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:30–17:00, and Friday, 08:30–16:00. Visitors are asked to telephone before visiting.
