About TRAC Aircon
TRAC Aircon is based in Halesowen and supplies, designs and installs air conditioning for homes, flats and apartments. Its residential options include wall-mounted, floor-mounted, cassette and ducted units, with servicing, maintenance plans and repairs also available.
Founded in 1975, TRAC is an independent company based in Halesowen. Its published opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.
Free quotations are advertised. The installation process includes discussing requirements and budget, a Project Manager's site survey and design drawing for approval, equipment selection, installation by qualified in-house engineers, and commissioning. Handover includes a commissioning report and an Operation & Maintenance manual with certifications and servicing schedules.
Residential wall units offer heating and cooling through inverter split systems. Cassette units suit false or suspended ceilings. Ducted units can be concealed within ceilings, walls or floor vents, while low-wall and floor-standing units can be installed against a wall or recessed.
Maintenance contracts generally include two to four inspections per year, with additional visits possible depending on the equipment and environment. Engineers check heating and cooling efficiency, clean internal filters and check system operation. Contracts are optional, but the maintenance page states that the installation warranty is void without a maintenance contract.
Manufacturer product warranties are advertised as 7–10 years depending on the product line; the maintenance page describes installation warranties of up to 10 years depending on the equipment and manufacturer. TRAC also advertises a 12-month labour warranty.
