About TRS Cooling
TRS Cooling designs, installs, maintains and repairs domestic air conditioning for cooling and heating. Based in Dry Sandford near Abingdon, it serves Oxfordshire and advertises UK-wide installation. Its installation range includes wall-mounted, ducted and floor-mounted systems.
Founded in 2015, TRS Cooling has office hours of Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. It states that it is a Daikin D1 approved partner and accredited by Daikin and Panasonic. Its engineers are F-Gas qualified and health and safety trained; staff have more than 60 years of combined HVAC experience.
An initial site survey is free for new installations. Repeat surveys may be charged, and the free survey excludes remedial work and fault-finding on existing equipment. Quotations are emailed after the survey and remain valid for 30 days. Electrical supply work, building work, redecoration and permissions are excluded unless included in the quotation.
TRS Cooling recommends annual servicing for home systems used only for summer cooling and six-monthly servicing for systems used most days for heating and cooling. Maintenance includes leak checks, filter cleaning, airflow, drainage and electrical checks, operational testing and a written report.
The Maintenance Club offers a 12-month service agreement with at least one inspection and cleaning visit annually, including service labour and consumables. Benefits include discounted call-out fees and repair labour, and priority breakdown cover. Payment is available monthly by direct debit or as an annual fee. Equipment installed by other companies can also be maintained.
