About What Climate
Based in Harwich, What Climate designs, installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning for homes across Essex and Suffolk. It offers free site surveys, ventilation installation and a choice of wall-mounted, floor-mounted and concealed equipment.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, and Saturday, 8:30am–4pm; Sunday is closed.
Free site surveys and quotations are available. Before recommending equipment, the company considers the space, how it is used and its heating and cooling requirements. Domestic installations cover bedrooms, home offices, living rooms, loft conversions, conservatories and garden rooms.
Bronze, Silver and Gold annual servicing packages are advertised. First-unit prices are £120, £140 and £180 plus VAT respectively, with additional units charged separately. Bronze includes filter and coil cleaning, drainage or pump testing and operation checks; Silver adds coil disinfection and fan cleaning, while Gold includes indoor-unit steam cleaning.
The Fujitsu Airstage and Panasonic BZ Super-Compact product pages advertise three-year warranties subject to annual servicing. Domestic product prices include standard fitting, subject to terms and conditions.
Documented domestic work includes a Fujitsu 2.5kW wall-mounted bedroom installation in Colchester, Panasonic equipment fitted throughout a house in Dedham, and a Panasonic floor console fitted in a converted loft bedroom.
The company reports over 20 years of air conditioning and climate-control experience and describes its engineers as F-Gas certified and insured. Home ventilation options include extract, supply and heat recovery solutions.
